Riya Misra

2024 Summer Fellow

Riya Misra is a rising senior at Rice University, where she majors in social policy analysis and creative writing. She’s about to enter her second year as editor-in-chief of the Rice Thresher, campus’ student-run newspaper. Riya particularly enjoys features and narrative reporting, and has a background in audience engagement. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new podcasts and making soup from scratch.
