Over three decades in the nonprofit sector, I've witnessed firsthand how strategic philanthropy can transform communities. My journey began in public health, where I saw the direct impact of well-funded initiatives on people's lives—and learned that securing those resources is just as vital as the programs themselves. This realization led me to philanthropy, where I spent years connecting mission-driven organizations with the funding they needed to thrive. For the past 12 years, I've channeled these experiences into development strategy and grant writing, helping organizations secure over $70 million from state and private foundations to advance their vital work.
