I am a graduate student at American University and a reporter at the Investigative Reporting Workshop, with a multimedia journalism degree from Oklahoma State University. 

At OSU, I served as the editor-in-chief for The O’Colly, the university’s newspaper. In 2024, KOSU, an NPR affiliate. I was awarded first place for the Oklahoma Press Association Newspaper Award for a news story with my coverage on the partnership between OSU and Payne County Jail to improve educational opportunities for female inmates. I am pursuing my master's in Public Affairs and International Journalism at American University while working as a researcher and reporter at the Investigative Reporting Workshop.

 I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States at 18 to pursue higher education.
