I am a reporter at the Michigan Advance, a nonprofit news organization and affiliate of States Newsroom, dedicated to reporting on politics and policy around the Great Lakes State. My reporting focuses on social services, community issues and LGBTQ+ rights.
I recently completed a fellowship at the Investigative Reporting Workshop, where I worked for over a year. My work at IRW since 2024 primarily focused on public and affordable housing in Washington, D.C., as well as fair housing changes nationwide under the Trump administration, which I covered for Mother Jones magazine and Washington City Paper.
I have a master’s from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in investigative and data journalism, and a bachelor’s in public policy from Princeton University. I’ve previously interned for the Chicago Tribune, POLITICO, and the International Press Institute, and I am originally from Somerville, New Jersey.
