I am a rising senior at Howard University majoring in journalism and minoring in Africana studies. I started my journey at Morgan State University and have written for several publications in my career, starting with the Morgan State Spokesman, and eventually the NABJ Monitor, Maryland Matters and IRW.  I’m passionate about politics, issues facing oppressed communities, and especially the experience and histories of African and African descendant people.  I have been working for IRW since 2023 and was a fact-checker for  “40 Acres and a Lie,” a finalist for the Pulitzer in explanatory reporting in 2025.
