Willard West is a third-year journalism and graphic design student in the American University School of Communication. West is currently the Workshop’s graphic design intern, having previously worked as a communications and policy intern at the Eldercare Workforce Alliance. In addition to his work for IRW, West is the assistant web editor and a news staff writer for AU’s campus newspaper, The Eagle.
He also serves as a teaching assistant for photography and graphic design courses at AU.
In his free time, West enjoys cooking, traveling near and far, and making photographs with film and his 65-year-old Rolleicord camera.
