Emma Schwartz is a producer and reporter with PBS FRONTLINE. Since joining with IRW in 2012, she has worked on more than half a dozen films, including “Blackout in Puerto Rico,” “Politics, Poverty and Profits,” and “Big Sky, Big Money,” an Emmy award winning piece for investigative reporting.

Schwartz has held a variety of journalism positions over the years. She taught multimedia reporting at the University of Maryland and produced and shot online documentaries for the Center for Public Integrity. Before that, she was a reporter in the investigative unit of ABC News and wrote about legal affairs for U.S. News & World Report. She began her foray into journalism as a reporter at the publication formerly known as Legal Times.

She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
