Cindy Choi is a graduate student studying broadcast journalism at American University. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, she covered breaking weather news and local forecasts for WUFT-TV/FM as a student forecaster. She moved to Washington after she worked for three years at the South Florida Sun Sentinel as a videographer and editor. Her greatest challenge was sound engineering “Felonious Florida,” a true-crime podcast series exploring notorious murders in the Sunshine State. Her interests are in environmental reporting and creating visuals for data using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Her favorite activities include reading, hiking and building IKEA furniture for anyone who needs it.
