Allison Desy is a senior journalism major at American University. She is working as an undergraduate research and reporting intern at the Investigative Reporting Workshop this fall, and previously held an editorial internship with Brightest Young Things.
Desy is passionate about community-based reporting on issues of race, gender and class. She is also a Spanish minor at AU, and enjoys studying Spanish translation and literature.
