Caroline Stetler is a graduate assistant at the Investigative Reporting Workshop and is pursuing a master's in Journalism and Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C. Stetler graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2003 and has since worked for magazines such as Golf Digest and Golf For Women, where she was an associate editor. Currently, she writes and edits articles, on topics ranging from health to politics, and produces multimedia packages for the American Observer. Stetler was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in 1996 just after her 16th birthday.
